The June 2010 Schedule in Brief

Monday, June 21
Establishing Common Ground
This will be a day during which all two hundred and fifty participants come together for the first time to establish common ground. They will connect with the earth, with each other, and with themselves as the entire group enters into an unfamiliar "place" and purpose.
Tuesday, June 22
Where am I in the Dying Systems and the Birth of the New?
Participants will group themselves according to where they are in various dying and emerging systems, explore the roles they currently are playing and are prepared to play in the shift to sustainable systems.
Wednesday, June 23
Listening and Visioning
Participants from the various communities of practice will listen deeply to voices they seldom hear, envision what 2030 might look like “if we got it right”, and determine the values that must be in place to support such a world.
Thursday, June 24
Commitments to Action by Each Community of Practice
The communities of practice will meet separately to determine the actions they will commit to take over the next two years, and share these with everyone before the closing of the gathering.
We will leave the gathering committed to experiments and prototypes, reaching out to new partners and networks and sharing our learnings with the world. We will arrive as circles of practitioners and leave as communities of leadership.
